From 16 to 31 July 2024, Confirel took part in the "Local Love Fair" event at Makro Sen Sok in Phnom Penh. We showcased our main products such as Thnot Palm Sugar, Kirum Kampot Pepper and Kirum Healthy Herbal Teas.
During these 15 days, customers shopping at Makro could try out recipes using our products, which are easy to recreate at home: Khor Sach Chrok & Khor Trei Chdor - pork and fish dishes from Cambodian cuisine.
"Local Love Fair" is an event set up by Makro to promote local products and support Cambodian businesses. Confirel was a natural choice to take part in this event.
Consumers were particularly impressed by our Thnot sugar paste, which is delicious and easy to use in cooking. Further proof that it should be present in every household in Cambodia!
Makro is a chain of cash-and-carry shops of Dutch origin. It was founded in 1968 in Amsterdam. After expanding in Asia, particularly Thailand via the CP Group conglomerate, the chain arrived in Cambodia only a few years ago. It now has 1 shop in Siem Reap and 2 in Phnom Penh. Makro is often appreciated for its large sales areas and regular promotional offers.
